VK (VKontakte) hosts an enormous video library across personal walls, community groups, and its VK Play gaming platform. This free VK video downloader lets you save any publicly accessible VK video as a clean MP4 file.
Paste a vk.com/videoXXX_XXX link, a wall post containing a video, or a VK Play stream URL. The fetcher pulls the highest quality stream available and delivers it to your FileFactory library.
VK videos range from user-uploaded clips to full movies shared in groups. Whatever is publicly visible, the downloader can grab it.
Key takeaway: Copy the VK video URL from your browser or the mobile app, paste it here, and pick MP4 720p for most content.
Why use our free VK video downloader
Supports walls, groups, and VK Play
The fetcher handles VK's various video locations: personal wall posts, community groups, standalone video pages, and VK Play gaming streams.
Highest available quality, no re-encode
VK serves multiple quality tiers. The tool grabs the highest one the uploader published, up to 1080p, and passes it through without re-encoding.
Audio extraction for music and podcasts
VK groups share a lot of music and spoken-word content. Switch to MP3 320 kbps to pull the audio track from any video without keeping the video file.
No VK account needed on your end
Our fetcher accesses publicly available content server-side. You only need a free FileFactory account to store the result.
How to download videos from VK for free
Copy the VK video URL
Right-click the video on VK and copy the page URL, or use the Share button in the VK app. Wall post URLs that contain a video also work.
Pick your format
MP4 720p works for most VK videos. Choose MP4 1080p for higher-quality uploads, or MP3 320 kbps if you just want the audio.
Sign in to save
A free FileFactory account is all you need. Signup takes 10 seconds, and the file lands in your library ready to stream or download.
Pro tip: VK community groups often host content at varying quality levels. If the video looks low-res in the VK player, it might just be the default playback tier. The fetcher will still grab the highest stream available.
